Welcome to the 2011 RGSTC Tennis Season!

The Riverside Gardens Tennis Program has experienced some exciting improvements and expansion over the past few years starting with our court renovation lead by Andrea Dynes. USPTA-certified pro Patrick Escalambre came to us from Mount Vernon Athletic Club three years ago, and together with assistant coach Casey McGee, has continued the fine tradition of coaching and instruction at Riverside Gardens.  Participation on the junior’s team is at a record high.  In 2009, Riverside Gardens finished in first place in the league with an undefeated season.  In 2010, we formed our first-ever women’s team to compete in the Mount Vernon Community Tennis League.  Thanks to the organizational efforts of Tim Kelly, an informal men’s group plays every Thursday evening.  The possibility of forming a men’s team, pending interest and league availability, is in the exploratory stages.  Other opportunities for informal friendly play such as adult mixed doubles scrambles and 10 and under round robins will be offered to give everybody a chance to get out and play. We look forward to seeing you on the courts!
